In order to successfully host the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China(hereinafter referred to as the “Expo 2010”), the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination (hereinafter referred to as the “Expo Bureau”) hereby publicly solicits Licensed Expo-symbol Manufacturer of Household Appliance (hereinafter referred to as the “Licensed Manufacturer of Household Appliance”) and Licensed Expo-symbol Manufacturer of Stationery (hereinafter referred to as the “Licensed Manufacturer of Stationery”) .
We hereby make the following announcement: I Content of Solicitation Licensed Expo-symbol Manufacturer of Household Appliance
1. Candidates: Any enterprise or other organization established, registered and duly operating in accordance with laws of the People’s Republic of China and intending to become a Licensed Manufacturer of Household Appliance is qualified as a Candidate for Licensed Expo-symbol Manufacturer of Household Appliance (hereinafter referred to as the “Candidate”).
2. Scope of Solicitation: Household appliances, including but not limited to catering/kitchen appliances, bedding, home accessories, suitcase appliances etc. Further classification of the said products is permitted. Licensed Expo-symbol Manufacturer of Stationery
1. Candidates: Any enterprise or other organization established, registered and duly operating in accordance with laws of the People’s Republic of China and intending to become a Licensed Manufacturer of Stationery is qualified as a Candidate for Licensed Expo-symbol Manufacturer of Stationery (hereinafter referred to as the “Candidate”).
2. Scope of Solicitation: Stationery, including but not limited to study appliances, office appliances etc. Further classification of the said products is permitted.
II Requirements for Candidate
1. The operation concepts of the candidates shall be in compliance with the theme of the Expo 2010, and the candidates shall possess a good social image and commercial reputation;
2. Candidates shall be capable of and have experience in brand operation and management, and are relatively good at products development and design and have relevant experience;
3. Candidates shall have relatively good financial capabilities and credit record;
4. Candidates shall have all qualifications and conditions required for the fulfilment of the responsibilities stipulated in the Request for Intention.
III Procedure
1. The Expo Bureau will issue this Solicitation Announcement; the detailed Request for Intention may be downloaded from the official website of Expo 2010: www.expo2010china.com.
2. The Candidates shall submit to the Bureau all application documents according to the requirements of time, means and content as described in the Request for Intention. Belated submission shall be deemed invalid.
3. The Expo Bureau, upon revision, shall notify the qualified Candidates in writing and shall issue to them the Request for Proposal.
4. Candidates shall submit their Proposals in accordance with the provisions in the Request for Proposal. Belated submission shall be deemed invalid.
5. The Expo Bureau shall review the submitted Proposals, select several Candidates, conduct negotiations regarding the agreement, and finally determine the successful Candidates. IV Contact Information
