The Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination (BSWEC)

The Promisee (Entrant) is willing to make the following commitments on the basis of full understanding and voluntary accepting the 'Regulations for the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China Logo Competition'.

1. The Promisee guarantees that he/she has full, complete and exclusive copyright of the entry JUST designed for the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China Logo Competition. The Promisee guarantees that the entry has not been used or explored by any means by a third party anywhere in the world.

2. Except for publishing rights, naming rights, amending rights and the rights to protect the integrity of the entry, the Promisee, agrees that other copyright including copying right, issuing rights, showing rights, transmitting rights via the Internet, filming rights as well as the rights of adapting, shall be conveyed to BSWEC.

3. The Promisee guarantees to transfer his/her authorizing of the amending rights to BSWEC or any third party appointed by BSWEC. The Promisee guarantees that he/she will voluntarily give up the right to object to any amendments to the work by BSWEC or any third party appointed by it.

4. Except for this submission, the Promisee should NOT publish or publicize his/her work by any means.

5. The Promisee should NOT request any rewards other than that described in the ``Regulations for the Competition ''''.

6. If the Promisee violates any of his/her commitments, BSWEC has the right to seek legal redress against the Promisee and seek compensation for any loss.

7. BSWEC has the right to take legal action against the Promisee in the event of any counter-claim, lawsuit or arbitration because the work violates the legal rights of a third party or because of any other wrong-doing by the Promisee.

8. The commitments are within Chinese law as implemented.

9. Other rights apart from those mentioned above may be negotiated by BSWEC and the Promisee in a fair and reasonable way.

10. The commitments will take effect from the date on which the Promisee signs his/her name.
