China has accelerated the implementation of the reform and opening-up program, making constant progress in the process of economic globalization. China is in need of the World Expo in this process, and the World Exposition is likewise in need of this prosperous country for its own further development. As the most economically developed and the most modern city in China, Shanghai will welcome the 2010 World Exposition with the efforts of opening up to the world.

The success of the Fortune Global Forum and the APEC Meetings in Shanghai owes much to the proactive involvement of the young people in Shanghai, who will hereby declare their consistent support for Shanghai''s bid to host the 2010 World Exposition and extend their earnest hope that the Exposition will be hosted in Shanghai. The young men in Shanghai will exhibit high spirit and strong fervor for the Exposition, and work hard together as volunteers to make our utmost contributions to this grand event.
