Huang Jianzhi, Deputy Director of Bureau of Shanghai Expo Coordination, discussed with a Japanese professor from  Waseda University, Director of Asian Urban Environment Association about air conditioning and heat system in the Expo Site venue and the utilization of new energy sources as well.

Shanghai Expo is the largest one in scale over the Expo history with a total layout area of 5.28 square kilometers, and the Expo Site has been divided into A,B,C,D,E five sections, said Huang.

He disclosed that development of new energy sources will be taken into consideration in the layout design of Expo Site.

The Japanese professor suggusted an integrated system of conditioning and heat in the Expo Site.
