Zhong Yanqun, Duputy Standing Director of Shanghai Expo Organizing Committee,
discussed with a delegation from Aichi Japan World Expo about the latest
development in Japan's participation in and preparations for Shanghai Expo.
All the preparatory work is in progress smoothly currently, said Zhong. She
would like to hear from experience and suggustions about Expos in Japan.
"It's quite a good opportunity for us to share with experience in Expo
preparation and holding."
Zhong introduced that unlike Aichi Expo in organizing system, Shanghai Expo
is totally organized and promoted by the local
government. Currently the govenment is undertaking a series of
campaign to improve local residents' quality and performance in public
places. "I believe it will surely become satisfied, " Zhong added.
Japanese Government is expected to establish a splendid national
pavilion at Expo 2010 besides a creative enterprises' pavilion, Zhong
said.
Japanese guests wished experience in Aichi Expo will help Shanghai a lot for
the first World Expo in 21st century was held in Japan.
