The construction of Sanlin Expo Garden, a 1.185-million-square-meter
relocation neighborhood in Pudong, is expected to have finished by the end of
this year.
Sources said the project was now almost complete. About 1.11 million square
meters of houses have been handed to their new owners leaving some 74,000 square
meters still under construction.
Water, electricity, gas and telephone services as well as the building of
parks and the planting of trees and grass will be competed between now and
December.
Sanlin Expo Garden, being constructed by the Pudong Housing Group, is one
of the largest and most demanding projects in city’s residential relocation
programme for Expo 2010 Shanghai. Some 10,000 relocated families have been
moving into Sanlin Expo Garden since March.
