The draft landscape design plans for the Shanghai Expo Site have just been unveiled, yesterday said Liu Bingyi, a landscaping expert from Tongji University at the 1st International Landscaping Education Forum.

“The entire project is barely in embryo till now,” he said.

The temperature within the inside areas of the Expo Site can be kept 3 to 5 celsius degrees lower than that of the outside thanks to a regular air conditioning system network, in which natural ecological powers are fully utilized.

“Visitors even will have opportunities to experience how to complete sewage purification, and that’s to say all the water flow through the Expo Site has been purified into fresh water,” said Liu, “it’s really great I think.”

“All we would reflect in the Expo Site soon is almost expected to be helpful to all the cities of the world prospering further and further, especially in ecological system,” he added.
