July 8, the main structure of Lot D in World Expo Village was completed 22 days in advance by the joint efforts of all the involving units. By far, the main structures of Lot A, B and D in World Expo Village had completed in advance. The project plan for first half of this year and the goal of project safety had been realized. The apartment hotel in Lot D consists of 7 board buildings connected by a 2-floor podium at the roots, with a floor space of 147 thousand square meters. When this project is finished, it will provide mid and upper level working place and accommodation for the staffs of Expo Shanghai participants. Not long ago, because of its project quality, Lot D was awarded the "Mobile Red Banner for Expo Park Project Site Unit" by Shanghai Central Station of Quality Supervision and Administration of Construction Projects, which had also listed Lot D project as 2008 Model Site of Energy-saving Construction Project.
