Expo touring exhibition today started in Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou Province, making its second stop in 2008.

The show will be wrapped off on January 28. During the exhibition, the Expo organizers will also hold special Expo lectures and a forum on digital technology in the library of the province.

Deputy Director of Expo Bureau Zhong Yanqun hosted the opening ceremony. Other officials form Shanghai including Shanghai Vice Mayor Yang Xiong and Wang Jingzhen, vice president of China Council for the promotion of Internatioanl Trade also presented the ceremony.

Guizhou is one of the provinces that contain the most ethnic minorities, which account for more than 37 percent of the total population.

The Expo touring exhibition has also stopped in seven national major cities -- Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou and Chongqing, Guangzhou, and Kunming.
