Meng Yang, vice secretary-general of Tibet Autonomous Region

Meng Yang, vice secretary-general of Tibet Autonomous Region, yesterday visited the Expo Bureau and talked about Tibet's participation at Expo 2010.

Meng heard the latest progress in Shanghai's preparation for the Expo as well as the participation of other provinces and cities.

Meng said Tibet will showcase its rich culture, tourism resources and its achievements in its exhibition. Meng also hoped that they could have more cooperation with the organizers and offer an excellent show in 2010.

Mang said Tibet's government attached great importance to participating at Shanghai Expo. Tibet established a team to work out its exhibition and budget plan for the event.
