Shanghai World Expo mascot Haibao will wear a Tang Dynasty costume to welcome in the Year of the Mouse, according to the Shanghai Expo Bureau.

Haibao will also hold firecrackers–one of the Spring Festival's enduring symbols.

Limited edition souvenirs of the Spring Festival Haibo will be available in shops licensed to sell Expo 2010 merchandise from February 3.

Under the Expo 2010 brand name, apparel suitable for a family of three will also be sold to express the organization's concern with the people, their families and their lifestyles.
