On September 14, the Communication and Visit-exchanging Activities of Expo Shanghai Sponsoring Enterprises Club were held in Shanghai Eastern Airline. Representatives from the Global Partners of Expo Shanghai and the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination merrily gathered together to discuss how to share the opportunities brought about by the Expo in the preparation process.

Communicate and exchange visits and share opportunities

The Communication and Visit-exchanging Activities of Expo Shanghai Sponsoring Enterprises Club are divided into daily information exchange, quarterly visit-exchanging activities, high-level corporate communication, theme activities and distinctive services, for which different activity cycles are set. Being the first of its kind, the activities held in Shanghai Eastern Airline comprise such three parts as business training, work conference and study-emulation and visit.

As the global partners working with the organizer of Expo Shanghai, such seven enterprises as Shanghai Eastern Airline, China Mobile, China Telecom, Bank of Communications, Shanghai Automotive Industry (Group) Corp., General Motors and Siemens have conducted training activities to learn the concept and theme of World Expo, know about the history and culture of World Expo and meet the new service requirements posed by the World Expo. During the activities, the distinguished marketing specialists invited by the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination offered guidance and help to the sponsoring enterprises so that they can better carry out marketing activities according to their own situations through analyzing the representative marketing cases of sponsoring World Expo and the Olympic Games. The global partners of Expo Shanghai conducted a deep discussion on how the enterprises go on with the marketing activities after their sponsoring of the large-sized activities as well as the joint marketing scheme for the second half of 2007. In addition, Shanghai Eastern Airline arranged for the study-emulation and visit activities such as touring its plane hangars, AOC and crew training center. Having exhibited the corporate spirit of "Excellent service takes priority over everything" and the mission of "Making the passengers reach their destinations safely and comfortably", all the above activities are in full compliance with the theme and concept of Expo Shanghai.

Conduct deep cooperation and strive for double-win development

Expo Shanghai Sponsoring Enterprises Club is an extensive service platform for the global partners and senior sponsors. As an exchange platform for get-together, seminar and friendship, the club will promote the interaction between the enterprises themselves and between the enterprises and the organizer of the Expo, broaden the cooperation between the sponsoring enterprises in terms of their business fields and World Expo marketing activities, help the sponsors maximize their sponsoring rights and benefits, assist the World Expo organizer to better publicize and communicate and aid the enterprises to deeply understand World Expo, to extensively promote World Expo and to fulfill the concept of World Expo in a more lasting manner.

The communication and visit-exchanging activities is very helpful for the global partners to deepen their understanding of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China. Following the announcement of Expo Shanghai mascot, the organizer will, during the second half of this year, join hands with the six global partners to launch the customized products and services concerning the World Expo mascot and conduct the relevant publicity and promotion with a view to further advance the development of World Expo brand name and those of the cooperative partners and familiarize millions of households with Expo Shanghai Mascot. The six global partners are of the same view that they will take advantage of this opportunity to achieve a new blast-off in the coming three years to welcome World Expo.

With the implementation of Service Planning for Expo Shanghai Sponsoring Enterprises and the interaction of the club, more interactive cooperation projects between the club members such as China Mobile and the Bank of Communications will come forth and the outstanding effect of profound cooperation and win-win development will gradually open out before people.
