Shanghai World Expo Publicity Week & Exhibition for Guangdong, "The Path to World Expo" opened in Tianhe Sports Center, the city of Guangzhou, on the morning of Tuesday December 6th 2007. Mr. Yang Xiong, Executive Deputy Director of the Shanghai Expo Executive Committee, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Mr. Tang Bingquan, the Executive Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, and Mr. Wang Jinzhen, Vice Chairman of CCPIT attended the opening ceremony presided by Ms. Zhong Yanqun, Standing Deputy Director of the Shanghai Expo Executive Committee.

Shanghai World Expo Publicity Week & Tour Exhibition "The Path to World Expo" started on August 5th 2007 (a 1,000--day countdown to the opening of Expo 2010) has been successfully held in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Beijing, Zhejiang, and Chongqing. The publicity program in Guangdong, the last station in this year, ended on 12th of December, with great success. As the core part of the program, "The Path to World Expo" overall covered an area of almost 18,000 square meters, the largest one so far.
